Swizerland unremarkable: MOldova... slightly etf-inducing but that one singer was cute. Israel... wtf? but those ladies were gorgeous, and props on them not being skinny-ass or dressed for a strip club.' latcvia; pretty bvoys, a d not too bad... acappella is nove. Norwegians were refresihing - I like the violins. The dress was laughable,t ho. Spain... COME ON, LAS KETCHUIP!?!?! s o okay, I liked., the sentiment... wtf was the song about? I sitll donpt get it. Now?`I plugged it in again. havenb´'t bothered with it more closely, but I want to watch the Oscfars. Becfause they are shiny. There will be pretty people, pretty dresses, nice music... I just love it, you know. my inner little girl is going all "omg I wanna be an acteress!" at me, althpough i do greatly know that if I ever have any bvusiness being nominated, it is going to be for writing :P

I liked this movie a lot; Gabriel was cool, and this was just immensely slashy (And kinky - wanna bet that it wasnt the blonde but the gun that had Stan going? *giggle*) and even if the hacking bits were... *falls on the floor laughing* I still liked this. Now I want slash. And I have crossover bunnies. Yay.
Other than that? Well, I got my grubby hands on a certain information that a certain blonde had removed from her technical appliances - now i am resisiting the urge to call anbother blonde, and those of you who know me can probably guess who that is. Sadly, Tall, Dark and Handsome was not available. :/
What else? Eh... I have a strange urge to watch Jean-Claude Van Damme movies after watching Las Vegas last night... oh, and Jake 2.0 was much fun yesterday.l I liked it quite a lot :D
Tonight, more TV, and I am having one of my neighbours (the one who tries to pimp me to both her son and her brother) taping Femme Fatale for me. Oh, Antonio, you are just way too gorgeous...
other than that, nohing much happening... Had therapy, and gushed about movies, crossovers and sex - just the usual 45 mins in the company of one of the worst Johnny Depp fans I know :D

Once Upon a Tinme in Mexico/24 crossover.
Now, the problem is this: when it comes to 24, I am a definite Jack/Ramon shipper. But, I cannpot imagine anyt scenario whatsoever involving crossoverness where Ramon would survive - he is, after all, a cartel boss.
*sigh*
On the other hand, if I make it Jack/CHase, which doesnt really have that much effect on me (no sparkage, am afraid) I could make the "official" crossover pairing so much easier; namely, Lorenzo/Kim.
Of course, if your ecall my musings on Lorenzo from earlier (young, cocky, amoral and greedy little fuck - why mariachi gunslinger whore and not vcarte? to nutshell them) you might understand why I have nbeen fooling around with the idea of actually making Lorenzo cartel - Lorenzo Salazar does have a nice rring to uit, yes? Of course, that would pronbably allow the best escuse ever (tm) namely, his huge crush on El to be the reason why he is running around with a flamethrower guitar-case and not worrking wewith the family...

Lessee... no new movies, unfortunately. But last nighT I did watch Jake 2.0 and Coupling, which was good.
My bike is deadm, unfortuunately - the back tire kind of.... bent, jammed, and after judicious application of bootpower, did manage to get me nhome - wibbling worse than my knees after reading Guedefic. So today it was taken to be fixed - yay. No bike means an annoyed, POd me, because I hatehatehatehate walking.
Ont he other hanfd, i am almost done with the Cleaning From Hell and can soon starrt decotarting - I habve two swords that need to be hung on the wall,, and tyoday I got those looooovely curtains. Of course I fewel kind of horrible because they have judicious amounts of pink on them :D
Other than that... well, not much, really. Excepot that no cat pictures, because nmoms camera phone is dead. :/ Also, will know abouut Jen later today.

Scribblings to come - and weird musings

Also, Lorenzo was much ewasier to write before I started to truly ponder his characterizzation. My brain has been working overdrive on possible backstoriies and plot bunnies have spawned like hell - everythghing from weird humorous fic in the style of Arrested Develeopement following Lorenzos shotgun wedding to the daughter of a cartel boss to a crossover with 24 and a liberal dose of Lorenzo/KIm (also, I seem to have a weird fascination with Ramon/Jack but that is another ballgame...)
in short, I hate my brain.

Second off... that weird guy sent another SMS last night and tried to call me agaion. He says he is sorry that he and his firend "fooled around" the night before - as if. I know said friend, have known for the last 12 years, and believe me, that man is never sorry and deserves to be eaten alive by rabid mosquitos. The scvary guy asked me out for a date -t he Finnish equivalent of having a drink is having a cup of coffee, and that is what he wanted. I did not even reply. *sigh*
I believe I complained about wanting a stalker somne time ago when I was hgaving much fun writing my novel - next time I say somethinbg like that, please shoot me.
Thrdly, on a lighter note - more movies.
I re-watched Shrek , both the original version and the FInnish-dubbed one. The translators did a fine job, with both the duybbage and the subbage, and the voice--actors were not bad. I was mildly annoyed at the fact that they made the Spanish accent Puss has much more pronounced and, dunno, slighltyly off in my opinion. And the guiy had a good voice, but not smooth enough.
Now Antonio, on the other hand... *purrrs* now there is a voice. it was Shrek 2 that spawned my obsession with him :D
Also - I loved the Far, Far Away Idol bits - I love the song "These boots are made for walkking" and thusly laughed my bits off :D
Also also: could someone Spanish-savvy tell me just what Puss is saying when he falls off after they hijack the coach?
Also also also: Shrek 2 gave me plt bunnies, sort of - I dare ya, write Mexico fic and have El steal Pusss lines :P
Ads for Kangaroo Jack... definitely not bad. Nowhere near as bad as I expected. But hey, I like that guy who played Charlie, and it had Marton Csokas soo... not bad. (Even if addition of leather pants oor removal of all clothing for Marton Csokas would have been much bonus :D )
On a somewhat related note: I believe that I have managed to worm my way into the "vip" list of yet anothger store here in my "lovewly" hometown - I got the firrst pick on new rentals when they arrived to the vvideo store and was even helpful, setting them to the shel ves after picking Shrek2 out of the pile.

Watched "The last castle" on monday; James Gandolfini and Robert Refdford, plus some random people. Not too bad of a movie, but not too good, either. Too chock-full of patriotic drivel, am afraid, as well as Suspension of Disbelief. *sigh*
Also, watched tghe third ep of The Shield. I love this show - I laughed SO hard when that guy said "VIc Mackey called and told me to turn myself in"... and oh, the pretty! The pretty! That giy who flirted SO outrageously with V Isit (No, I have no idrea what the guys name is - he is Visit, after the religiously-minded copper of Ankh-Morpork City Watch :P ) was yuummy. Sooo pretty.
Why ofh why did they show hetsex but no guy/guy smoochies?
Daredevil, too, I saw - not bad by any means, and Ben Affleck managed to be just a bit adorable. But really, i expected more from Colin Farrel. Even if that peanut trick rawwked.

Third, movies!
Yes, I watched a load of movvies during the weekend, out of sheer boredom.
FIrst: Hero
I rewatched it only partiually, but believe me, it had far greater impact on me this time than the firsrt time around. I admit I cried at the ffirst battle between Sky and Nameless, and I actually had to jump up anfd go write up some of the things that ate into my brain. this movie is brilliant beyond belief.
Second: Femme Fatale
I did not see a ll of this, since I wqas channelsurfing and did not realize that it was, in fact, Femme Fatale until I caught my first glimpse of Antonio - but the bitss till then, I liked. Very, very nice movie in toital, "style over substance" a very good definition. I absolutely loved Antonio in this one - sooo sexy and SO flaming queen. I fully expected him to protest with a resounding "Im gay!" at several points... :D Also, for some reason i find his way of saying "fuck you" disturbingly sexy :D
Third: 28 days later
again, I channelsurfed this one - it was not bad, but not good enough to get me riveted. But it also gave me West/Jim bunnies... he did say he promised his men women *snerk* As a whole, I am glad I saw it on cable and did not spend actual money on it.
fourth: SWAT
I liked this one; I am definitely a card-carrying member of the Alex gfanclub... the fangirls were a lovely touch. Sure, it was more than a little preditable att times, but I most definitely enjoyed it. The actiuon sequewnces were not too overblown and even if characterization was very, very flat at times, it was stillpresent.
(The fact that SWAT had an OuaYTiM trailer preceeding the movie was also a nice bonus -that trailer was watcched repeatedly :D )
Also: had my therapist visit,. Much kittycuddling and blathering about things and stuff. Aldso, got her to help me to haqng the Zebra Thing straight. Which was kinda impossible to do alone.
I knwo I had rants I wanted to do, too... but I am actually feeling reasonably good so I will skip those.

I went to ask about my dear Jen, and they asked me if I had the WinME disc and registration code (*coughcough*) because apparently the people fixing her need those - and cannot find them anywhere
So, I fetched them those, and only when I handed them in did I notice that the case I had the CD in (the original was destroyed ages ago) was actually one that had included a - gasp! - Backstreet Boys CD...
Cue embarrasment to the nth degree.
As it is, I am also findinbg myself having a strange liking for Owen Wilson and Been Stiller - damn you, Kho! :P
Watched Imagining Argentina; it was a very, very powerful movie that had me in teqars (and not just because Antonio looked freaky with that beard...) Simply awesome. Also; Ruben Blades was nearly unrecognizable in this one - it was his voice that allowed me to realize that it was indeed him. I mean, the sidebirns? Eugh. But damn, there is one fine acor. (to those who wonder who the hell ihe is: he is the guy who played Ramirez in OuaTiM)
What else?
Ah yes... waking to being bitten and performing a caterctomy is not fun... but later, waking again when a psychotic kitty licks yous houlder is all warm and fuzzy and nice - even if the kitty is the usual garden variety and not a pretty blind gringo one :P
I sort of miss music... I found myself leaving g the TV on (and recording 3 hours of MTV to keep the damn thing from shutting down - long story) just to let there be some wsound.. sure I have a fab stereo system but... I do not dfare to leave it on overnight.

Tonight they will air nmore of The Shield. Yay. I like that one.
Also. caught the first episode of Jake 2.0 - I like that one, too... Jake is nice and nerdy and the premise is quite interesting. Exceptr that I am quite sure that the bicycle stunt was impossible becvause the bicyle should not have been able to withstand such treatment.
On an unrelated note: Watched most of Driven. Not tyoo bad of a movie, but... I do not think I was supposed to laugh my bits off when they bullettimed that car crash?
I am not sure how correct my brain was when it told me to shut up and suspend disbelief quite a lot...

Okay, during the weekend I watched moviers. Lots of them. Including a re-watching of OuaTiM (oh, the hotness!), finally getting around to watching Secret Window. Also, Ballistic, and bits pieces of SAhanghai Knights Zoolander.
OuaTiM: I still love this movie to pieces. I cannot possibly express how geniustical it is. And of course so hot that it probably contributed majorly to my healing :D
Secret Window: I love this. Too bad I had been spoiled to bvits, tho... but man this is jsust... wow. Mort iss such an adorable liuttle psycho and Ted was definitely just BEGGING to get what he got... I literqally clapped my hands and cheered when he got a faceful of shovel.
Ballistic: Urk. Not a good movie. Predictable, with Antonio looking rather horrible :( But it did have its good points, such as Ray Park (I have a soft sport for the guy :D ) Also, gavve me a minorr urge to go crossovery with OuaTiM.
Shanghai Knights: watched buts; did not expect to laugh as hard as I did, but there was still cringeworthiness, too.
Zoolander: Same as above, exxcept that this is the onluy nmovie EVER in which my chanting of "Make it a threesome!" has hbappened... sort of :D
As it is, there is thiss weird thing that is supposed to get me hooked on Canal+ happening... and since tomorrow they start airing The COupling, I just might. Hell, am not sure if I can ever afford that one... but I think I might try.

My nose it totally peeled, I snifffle, and other nastiness, such as my waistline going the way of the dodo thanks to the very suugary hot lemon/ginger mix I drink.
Jenova is in the shop; I will know more about her later today.
The day before yeasterday they aired the first episode of The Shield; I liked it. I will wcatrch it again if I remember.... even if the sudden weird urge to slash Vic with the tesst-taker-guy-whose-name-I-cannot-remember is kinda freaky, especially taking into account the actors previous roles and the WTF factor.
Of course, there has been more WTFing lately... I picked up Exit 5/04 which I had just browsed and settled down to read it; it hadd a nice picture gallery of men in uniformm... wouldnt have been THAT bad, if not gffor thee fact that one Cuban museum guard they had a pic of looked, way, way too much like Barillo.... I had the severestt moment of WTF I have had in ages.
