next bit, as you can guess, will be the 'rents walking in on R & N. Only - I have no idea how to helld eal with that. What WOULD a logical reactuion to be at that point? Whent he thought-to-be-missing-since-2-days--ago daughter is founf in a rather compromising situation with a pop star more than 10 years her senior? I just hyave no idea wahtsoever. *sigh*

So, help?

Relly, I do love my story-baby. but damn, am I I in for some heavy-duty editing.... re-reading it after a few months' break is giving me a lot of prerspective.and...

fuck, Rafe is becpoming scary in my head. he's being really fucking bugnut crazy in many bad ways... but then again, he WILL get better even igf it kills him.

Am working on some stupid designs for FotM-themed t-shirts if anyone is interested. Suggestions for 'shipper slogans, in-jokes or other such things v. welcome :P

also: I admit that I am WAY too attached to my characters. I canä't even see them clearly. so, I am asking you, my dear readers, tell me: what flaws do my characters have? Espoecially nega,... she is becoming an extreme blind spot to me :(

He has to read & review a book of mine and WIPs don't count... so I just slapped an aborted AU ending on my last year's monster and sent him that; despite the graphic gay sex, he will be reading and reviewing it; I am... extremely nervous yet flattered.

Someone thinks I am an author.

Also; thik I have the most fucked up playlist in existence; Everything from Enrique Iglesias to Dimmu Borgir, Spice Girls (I am feeling nostalgic) to Nightwish, spiced with Sugarcult, REM, the Beatles... hell, I think there's even some classical in there, too!

All right... despite having a perfectly reasonable plot and all that jazz with great characters planned, this one came and bit me in the backside when I was going to the store today. (No doubt it has been aided by my recent obsession with Enrique Iglesias...)

Ok, here goes:

Rafael (name might change) is a successful pop star; he is also a closet computer geek. So, one day he is surfing the net to find help with one of the games, and runs into an interesting community. He joins, and ends up in the chatroom. There, he runs into Nega (name might change)

Now, Nega is a fangirl. She's currently reasonably obsessed with Rafael, downloading his music, checking out his few movie cameos, that sort of thing. At first, Rafael is embarrassed, but then he realizes that he is but a latest idol in a series of idols ("flavor of the month") he relaxes, and ends up talking to her just about every time he goes to that particular site. (He is finding it a really great way of relaxing)

They talk a lot, and become friends; This lasts for a long while, until Nega finds something else to obsess over. And that's where things start to happen; Rafael gets jealous. He feels possessive over Nega, feels almost betrayed because she is now gushing over someone else.

Rafael then remembers a conversation they'd had; he had asked her that since she called him her "flavor of the month" and wanted to "practice making babies" with him, that if she would just use 'im and loose 'im if he ever had the chance. Se had told him that no, she would do her damned best to make things work; she keeps relationships and Fangirlishness separate. She amounts her Fangirlishness to her "total lack of love life"

Rafael comes to the realization that he has, in fact, fallen for her; Insert random looking-for-advice from community members, He doesn't really tell people the details, but when he gets enough "go for it" opinions, he sets things into motion.

Via a "competition" he arranges to that when his world tour comes near where Nega lives, she gets an all-expenses paid, VIP ticket including concert trip. And before the concert Nega is invited to meet him.

The following scene is somewhat along the lines of:

"wow... um.. it's.. it's a great honor to meet you, Mr. Last-name."

"Please, just call me InsertInternetHandle,... Nega."

She sort of loses it then, says something about him being a sneaky bastard, but before they manage to talk, he has to go to perform.. So, when on-stage, he then proceeds to dedicate his newest song for her; it is obvious for anyone who knows Nega that it is all about her and their particular situation.

Afterwards, well.. stuff happens. Am not so sure what. But the ending will be happy :)

So, how stupid is this?
