I love you darlings, and I know that since you took a trip outside today, that you love it there. I promise I'll figurre out a wy for you to play without danger. But for now, can you please understand why I am keeping you inside? I promise I'll play with you on the yard tomorrow.

As it is, i have been seeing one therapist or other for.... meh, soon to be seven years. Most of them have been horrible, really, but right now, I am muchly heaping praise to my current one. ay she be praised with great praise!
Sometimes, perhaps one out of three of our usually biweekly meetings, I don't go to the public mental health center (attached to the side of the public health centre and the natal care) Instead, she comes to see me.
Todaty was one of those dys; here is roughly what happened.
She comes in, pets and cuddles the kittiesm, and marvels at the fact that it is, in fact, cleanish. I tell it was Aunty who cleaned. We talk, i admire her new shoes and say she looks like Renee Zellweger (she does!) and we blther about stuff. We talk about the fact how Antonio Banderas is shorter than I am (1 cm DOES count!) and how Johnny Depp is taller (which is muchly surprising...); we went through the Oscars, i spwed her the tape of antonio's performance, much talk on Antonio's atributes happened. She complemented the new setup and I menntioned my rather vague plansof redecoration.
I showed her my swords; she was not panicky while I had shap instrments - much good. I also showed her the new curtains and some other stuff and she was muichly impressed... she even promised that we can make a "special" appointment and she will help me move the furniture.
All in all, a muchly good appointmen. I amanaged to get ouyt of the huge rut of "meh...." that has been bothering me all week.
Next appointment I have on the 8th, at 8 am... at the center. Urgh. Oh well...
Also, I FINALLY managed to e-mail her my so-called novel :D and sort of introduce her to the Sorcereans....
Now I SHOULD sleep.... we'll see...

Let's seee....
Woke up around noonish thans t sun and alarm clock. Becamme even more convinced that I need to rearrange things.
Also, went to the store to complain about the fucked up floppy drive. 'tis an amazing tale...
So I go tot he store, wearibng sunglasses sincve it's shiny. So okay there is a guy free, but he is the one who doesn't know a fying fuck about computrs. So I wait for half an age while the owner himself first deals with anothwer computer problem (an arty teacher from my old school seems to have problems twith his graphics card) and then some random guy asking anout solar power for some summer homes.
So, here I am, and I am having a TOTAL Sands moment. I was grinning like a maniac, wearing sunglasses, and feeling like I could clobber someone to death with the portable printer taht was on display.
I also note, once again, how the guy in the cover of Haalf-Liufe 2 looks a little like Mort if you look it from further away.
So, when the guy comes to talk to me, finally, I tell him what is wrong and answetr ghis questions. He looks pained, and then when I finis, he hangs his head and is silent for a long time, a pained look on his face. Then he asks me if i can use a screwdriver.
Dio I REALLY need to tell yopu what my firstr impulse was?
No,, I did not skewer him. He just took me to the back room, handed me a brand new floppy drive, and explained how to replace uit.
Thus, today's To Do list is as follows:
1. Replace floppy drive
2. cclean
3.Move furniture
as it is, Mmy mom is convinced that i can't do section 3 without help. well, I can. And if I can't (yes, Kitty, feel free to laugh/snicker/express amusement) I will rope my therapist into helpingg when shevisits on Wednesday.
And yes, my therapist makes house calls. Doesn't yours?
(this is the part where the rude joke about her wanting to see my cats can be made. Feel free to use your imagination)

Feb. 24th, 2005 12:24 pmAh yes... where to start?
Jen still waiting for parts.
This here warmed my heart immensely: http://www.sorcerers.net/ubb/ultimatebb.php?/topic/22/545.html
I am a longtime resident there and even if I am well-liked, i am also somewhat... disliked buy the adminstration. Much drama and all that. And it was NOT me who did that poll - I just pretty much force-fed OuaTiM to that guy :D
Lessee... TV. I like QE a lot,m I have realized. Now I just wonder if I can find any of those fabulous recipes online... and justr how much much screaming would my place cause in the Fab 5.
Also, Ladeevix; You keep M, I like my version better - I finally watched an episode of WaT.
What else, what else... ah yes. I cant keep my kittens straight... and no, Tarantino did not run off with the tomcat next door, and neither did Carolina REALLY turn out to be in drag. Rather, I keep having these freudian slips and my dahlink OC Jani actually ended up saying a Sands-style line, swearing included 0_o
Also - I most definitely love snooze alarm - it let me have the nicest dreams i have had in a looong time, and prevented something that might very well have been a nighmare (human-eating rage-infested baboons, anyone?) But damn, why oh WHY did the stupid dream have to shift just after I opened my door and certain tall, dark and handsome stood there... *pouts*
Also, I feel geeky - I can program my VCR. The one problem is, of course, that it was of no use... that stupid program I taped because iw as too lazy to get up at 9 am did not show any of the music videos I really wanted *sniffle*

Bahness...
Feb. 21st, 2005 01:14 pmWeekend... was mediocre. Movies hjappened, of course, annd some kittycudling. Was too lazy to do much eklse. Also had much fun talking to Elegy and having a case of angst over someything I might or might not elaborate at some point.
JEnova: They figured out, Friday afternoon, what was it that was wrong. One of the spiky bits in the... thing that plugs the harddrive in... (Yes, I am technical - I had this explained to me in FInnish) has this freaky sliding function that is not supposed to be there. So, all they have to do is order a new one and feed my 80 gigs of stuff to it - which makes the ETA of compy repairs wednesdayish, afaik.
now, movies!
Commando: This movie is older than I am, and it shows. It did havce some funny oneliners but damn, I laughed SO hard at the bits I did see that it was probably not what they intended :D
Traffic: Loved it. Well, at least the bits related to Merxico; the whole plot with the judge the daughter did not really work for me... i guess it is the strange and unusual obsession I have with Mexico that caused this. And damn, I liked that prettyboy psucho. *wonders if anyone ever slashed Javier and Francisco* Also - I had a bad case of WTF when I realized that I understood a lot more about the Spanish bits than I though I would.... either there was severe overuse of "chingada" or I know more than I though 0.o
Keeping the Faith:
kohen1, this is ALL your fault. It is. it is thanks to you that I seem to have gotten a strange and unusual fascination with Ben Stiller - and thus, I enjoyed this movie greatly :D not something I would rewatch with intent, but something I wouldnt mind catching :)
Hollow Man: Hmm... not too baqd, I suppose, but, really, much cheese. And I am not sure if innarrds are supposed to look like that.
There weere some other movies that I watched, too, but I need to find out their nnames before I can say anuything... if I bother. They werent that spectacular.
Also, I am even more convinced that my cat, Carolina, is Sands in drag... on Saturday, shge was ferociously attackinbng my feathered hairclip (said clip being in my hair) when there was this weird combo of angle and lights and it looked like she was blind - her eyes looked freakyy and milky for a moment and I had a great moment of "WTF?"...
Am still watching Amewwrican Idol, by the way - and the Next Action Star. My current faves in AI are Mario and COnstantine, and in NAS... well, Viviana is still my absolute fave :D She has the most important thing they SHOULD be looking for - star quality.
What else? Eh... probably npot much. But yeah, I do spend a lot of time vegging in front of the TVsand Jen... I ebven watch infomercvials at times. I am thinking of ordering a Magtic Bullet.
...
It is a KITCHEN APPLIANCE, you pervs.

Went and asked about Jen - they werent sure yet but she may or may not be pronounced eithera) dead or b) fixed today. *sigh*
I hate this.
They might have to send her tot he factory to see what the fuck is wrong with her - yayness.
As it is, yesterdauy sucked somewhat, too - I broke several kitchen untensils, nb anged my knee, got scratched by Carolina and dumped pea soup in my lap. Much suuckiness.
YThus, I was vy happy when I managed to catch the E! Love Chaiin on George Clooney - much droolahge. (I have forgotten to mention the E! thingy on Johnny Depp I caught two days ago - much swoning there)
As it is, life sucks. But at least there is TV.
Moms on-off-boyfriend pretty much fixed my door; and my bike is back, too, repairs free of charge. Whgich is also good.
Now, I have a daunting tadsl ahead - I need tro relocate my bed and wash a wall, then yank out extraneous nails, and hang this HUGE fan from Thailand I was given by MOOB.
Yay.
Ph34r my awesome interior decorating skillz.

Feb. 14th, 2005 01:47 pmThe following is a long-winded post about stuff, thanks to my weekend lack. Topicvs of Stalker-Dude, Jenova, Kittenss, Cleaning, My Hair, TV and Movies will be elaborated on.
( Still here? )
( Still here? )
Movies, life, stuff
Feb. 11th, 2005 11:20 amUpdate on Stalker Dude: No new messages/calls, and according to my cousin whose friend lives in the same building as the Dude, the guy is the shhy, silent type and apparently "nice" - which either means thios was a false alarm or that I should be doubly scared and start checking for hidden cameras and/or listening devices.
And... more movies!
The Core: Tragical cmedy. it.... sucked. Badly. and was not even slashy.
Hellboy: Not bad - the kittens were cute and some of the lines very, very good - and the bad creeps were suitably creepy. And it had a ninja nazi!
The Pianist: I onlöy caught the end of the movie, sadly enough, but I liked it; definitely liked it. And Adrian Brody has verrry sexxy hands :)
I laughed my head off at the "why the fucking coat?" exchange - i assume it was intentional after the tension from earlier... an amazing movie, even when only seen in bits.
My kittens are beyond adorable.
Also - I bought a CD just for one song. And it was a pepsi chart CD - someone kill me now? But then again, said song was Love to see you cry which is probably one of my favorite songs. *makes happy noises*
Jen should be back next week - hopefully.

First off: I love my cats. I bought this pez dispenser the other day, not because I partivcuularly like Pez (II loved them as a kid - now I think they are too sugary) but because it was a Puss in the Boots one.
Now, when I get home and start to fiddle with it (and you pervs on my flist can get your mind out of the sewers - I mean fiddle as in fill it with the candies) up comes Carolina and strts sniffing my hands and the dispenser... and then she began to lick it.
Believe me, I hafd a moment of flabbergastedness.
That was Teh Cute - not to rambvlings
( Of TV and Memesheepage *hint hint* )
ETA: People on the computer next to mine just said "ihq" with the emphaisis on the "q" - pleasepleaseplease kill me now?

First off; lack of internet is bad for my brain. I found myself watching American Idol. *shudder* And yes, Jen is still dead.
Second off, I need to clean more often. There were BONES under my bed.
Third, movies!
Yes, I watched a load of movvies during the weekend, out of sheer boredom.
FIrst: Hero
I rewatched it only partiually, but believe me, it had far greater impact on me this time than the firsrt time around. I admit I cried at the ffirst battle between Sky and Nameless, and I actually had to jump up anfd go write up some of the things that ate into my brain. this movie is brilliant beyond belief.
Second: Femme Fatale
I did not see a ll of this, since I wqas channelsurfing and did not realize that it was, in fact, Femme Fatale until I caught my first glimpse of Antonio - but the bitss till then, I liked. Very, very nice movie in toital, "style over substance" a very good definition. I absolutely loved Antonio in this one - sooo sexy and SO flaming queen. I fully expected him to protest with a resounding "Im gay!" at several points... :D Also, for some reason i find his way of saying "fuck you" disturbingly sexy :D
Third: 28 days later
again, I channelsurfed this one - it was not bad, but not good enough to get me riveted. But it also gave me West/Jim bunnies... he did say he promised his men women *snerk* As a whole, I am glad I saw it on cable and did not spend actual money on it.
fourth: SWAT
I liked this one; I am definitely a card-carrying member of the Alex gfanclub... the fangirls were a lovely touch. Sure, it was more than a little preditable att times, but I most definitely enjoyed it. The actiuon sequewnces were not too overblown and even if characterization was very, very flat at times, it was stillpresent.
(The fact that SWAT had an OuaYTiM trailer preceeding the movie was also a nice bonus -that trailer was watcched repeatedly :D )
Also: had my therapist visit,. Much kittycuddling and blathering about things and stuff. Aldso, got her to help me to haqng the Zebra Thing straight. Which was kinda impossible to do alone.
I knwo I had rants I wanted to do, too... but I am actually feeling reasonably good so I will skip those.

Random things
Feb. 3rd, 2005 01:00 pmlesseee.... had funky dreams. Namely, chasing Guedes drabbles and other weirdness like that.
Also; I think I am past my block; last night IU wrote over 3000 words of FotM, and even if it is horribloew, horrible crap and I( will more than likely scrap the last 600 of it, I am writing! I have not writtent hat much in a day since before Christmas!
*does a happy dance*
( Andd now for some family weirdness... )

Misnamed cats and whatnots
Feb. 2nd, 2005 02:00 pmFirst off; Absolutely fabulously happy birthday to Hippediva! *huggles* I know I should probably sya something profound and witty, but all is ay is that you are not old :P
secondly, some random babbleage to not to clog your flists:
I actually get more sleep weith Jenova in the house than with her away - "catching up on sleep", yeah, right... I am NOT accustomed to gewtting up at normal times... I tried to go to bed at midnight; I know it was past 5 am when I fell asleep - and my freaking alarm went off at 7.30 and I finally got out of bed at noon...
I want my Jenova back!
Also, King Arthur was not that good of a movie... just lots of the pretty. then again, it was the vanilla version, so i still need to see the DC version. And I did not like them killing off the pretty. Thus, I shall now be off to read KA fic. *nods*
Edit: Am too lazy to make a new post for something I forgot...
I swrear, if Carolina had been a boy I would have named her Sandfs,. Why? Because she is the one who slinks to the floor the monment I gewt to bed, but whom I find biting my feet at the morning. The mnoment I pick hjer up she squirms away, but in a moment is surely jumping into myu lap - claws gfirst. She is an adorable little psycho :D
Also, Tarantino should have been named Mort. Picture this: On top of a beraggled bathrobe, a fluffly cat is sitting... andbiting/clawing/Batting at a cob of corn. 0_o
I admity, I could not stop laughing for a good five minutes :D

As it is, I love my kitties... and occasionally want to strangle them, too. Like today.
See coat. See coat slip off the hanger. See cats. See cats pe on the coat.
Believe me, an reasonably PO'd right now, and just happy it wasn't wool.... juist a ski-coat type of thing. Even so, I curse my current lack of /lack of access to a washing machine...

Journalism
Dec. 21st, 2004 05:12 pmAs in, this is actually a... journal-esque update.
Went to get the turkey and most of the stuff for the stuffing - as it is, I am an idiot of epic proportions and lost the recipe AGAIN - thus, unless I can get over a case of terminal embarrasment and ask for it for a third time... I will just have to improvise.
As it is, I am actually going to clean a little today, and tomorrow, too... and I finally fixed a lamp to the ceiling. Made me feel really homey, that one did.
also, found something that looked like it was about to develope sentience in my fridge - go me.
I think I wil try to write now - and resist the urge to start munching on the Christmas goodies or to take a peek at my gifts.
Gee, I have no desire to do so, actually - I feel soooooo grown-up.
Or amybe it is just the lack of sleep.
I think... I think that I am finally getting somewhere with this life thing - I write, I live, I have a place I think of as a home... I haven't really felt liike I had a home for a long, long time. My... home home, to call mom's place that, ceased to be a home when being there became a pain rather than anything fun. My apaartment is home now - because this is where I not only hang my hat, but also my heart is.
*cuddles the kitties*
I think I am feeling moderately good for once.
