At work and tiired. slept a bit more than usual. still overwhelmed byt he amount of STUFF I have... runnibng out of containers to put it in! it is disheartening,tr hat is what it is... *shakes head* last time I moved, I could take out some of the junk every time I was there to pack so it made it much easier..t his time, noth9ing like that is going on. *shakes head* will ahevt os ee what I can throw out and then continue packing, once I go home today.

NIN last nigght. Didn;t go, was good, didn;t spendd the money. not that I had it anyway. but yeah.. noo NIN this time around. *Shakes head* I am no sure if it would have been good for me, in the end.... gig s tend to have a strange effect on me. they psych me up and the crashdown tends to be hard. (Will not miss Era Vulgaris ont he 15th, tho - haven;t een them since the Mael Mordha gig waaay back)

sopeaking of gigs.... there is one gig I most efinitely have to go see sooner or later: ODS. I mean,s eriously - I love those guys. Not jsut because I thinkt he music kicks ass, but because they are, fromw hat I can see, a bunch of very very awesome guys. And they like me, too - I want to take advantage of bein on their guest list, dammit! (this random bit brought to you by their singer ading me on myspace *gringringrin* )

A stuffed purple.... crabthing my sister sent me from some marine biology lab she was at soem time ago is no wistting ont op of my monitor at work. I foresee this particular corner overwhelmed by cute stuffed creatures. *shakes head*

If you love these guys so much then why aren't you PAYING to go see them??? They only appear to be doing mainly pub gigs on their list. Hardly gonna earn them beer money for the night. This attitude of going on someones guest list to look cool or something really pisses me off. That's why I PAID for both you and I to get in to see Tempest. I've been to Club Riga many times, watched the sound check then come out and PAID to go back in. Why? a) show the guys some respect, this is their living after all, and quite honestly they'll respect you more for not freeloading off them, even if they've offered in the first place. Secondly the promotor wants paying bodies through the door, your £5 could be the deal breaker as to whether the band ever get asked to go back to the venue again, and ultimately ever play again if no one wants to book them due to poor sales........

honestly, I wasn;t even thinking ofi it int he terms of getting in for free. 0_0 I weas thinking more int he sense of "this is so danmn cool, i get to meet them for sure, and this means I will be able to poke about backstage and do research and yayayayay i ghet to actually for once meet the badn I go see and did i mention how cool this is?"

.. yes, i am like a 13 year old about that one. But I think you know it by now.

Actually unless one of them is doing the door, which is highly probable in a pub, your name is just put on a list, you don't form an orderly line like you're meeting royalty! Backstage will no doubt be the men's toilets! He he he I have visions of you poking around the mens urninals doing 'research'!!!!!!!!!!!!

Talking of meeting mussos I've been to see one band a few times now recently, and everytime the singer asks me to go and say hello, and stupid me has a shyness attack, and quite honestly I can't be doing with the meeting the band thing anymore, I like their music, I turn up to gigs, end of. He called me a 'woman of mystery' after the last gig. Last weekend he was at Slimes and embarrassingly I'm pretty certain I stomped all over his foot on the way to the loo's. I feel I should apologise, but then will look even dafter for not saying hello! Btw I dunno if you like VNV Nation but they're playing Dublin in December, not even sure the tickets are onsale yet, got mine for London yesterday. Sorry about the rant earlier, some of my friends who have an extensive gig list, and lots of merch were asking for money to keep them on the road the other week, people don't realise how little bands get paid when they are small time.......

I do know of the VNV nation thing - no tix yet, not even sure if they will be available befoe the actual wevent - it is DUblin, after all. :P I got my ticket to cruxshadows at the door and it was far from packed... HJope this one goes better thanm taht one did.

This one could well sell out, they are worth seeing even if you don't like them that much.........and then of course you'll be chasing after Ronan as well:-D The London tix were only released late yesterday afternoon, I missed them at Slimes earlier this year, and am missing them at Infest this weekend so I was damned sure I'd get tickets this time. Knowing my luck I'll have some family event to attend or some such boring thing......

*nod* myspace says that the tickets go on sale on sept. 1st..a dn damn, now I am annoyed even more abotu my move. cause the venue is 10 mins ferom where I live now :P Oh well, wont; be too bad. should be ag odo friday.. I hope.

.. so ok, last Ministry of Agrokultur thing I was at proved out to be the worst nigth of myu life in several levels. I foresee that one is probably going to be jsut as wemotionally harrowing. So these gusy better kick ass. :P
