Date: 2006-11-12 12:37 pm (UTC)I was wondering why so many people seem ..comprehensive of your idea to move to Ireland. Well first of all, people tend to resist change. They don't want people they know to change, and are unknowingly opposing the change they are anticipating to happen in you.
Second, in your journal you often come off as dependent, needy, having difficulties making decisions on your own, needing affirmation from others, etc. Nothing wrong with that, but then, even when you start acting more independently, people still think you are all these things you've been showing them, and continue giving advice, making decisions for you, voicing their opinions even when not asked and so on. So that's why you're getting a lot of criticism over your decision. End of conclusion.
