SOoo... today has been nice enough. Overslept art but felt sickinsh anywqy. maybe an aftereffect of the damned pill? (and yes, PSA in case you missed it: Teh Ara uis on the Pill now. w00t.)

Spanish was fun. Foun d out that withg the exception of a single little old lady, everyone else of those in the class at today is a teacher. As in, there's 5 teachers and apparenltly 3 others (if one of 'em didn't quit and including me) in there. Some of them eventeach LANGUAGES.

*headdesk*

I should feel pwned, right? Have a case of "OMG I sux they are all so better than me and i will never learn" and feel intimitadet, right?

But am not. Am gleefyull. Because I am pwning the lcass - it is easy. And some of 'em have even takenen Spanish before! *cackle*

(And sokay so my notes are covered in tlittle hearts with A + E in them.. and when one excersise involved responding to the phrase "Buenas Noches, mi amor", my instinctive response was "buenas noches, Enrique")

*headdesks*

Found an.. interesting story yestewrday; OCs, Real people and Fictional Characters all thrown to an inbteresting space opera AU. With an empire. And nobles. And slavery. *headdesk* it is not too horrible, pretty good in fact.. and had Enrique in a bit part. (no pairing for hima s of yet) but... yeah. he's a noble. supposedly6 owns slaves. Can you see where my brain goes?

Am having clothing woes; I will be leaving for my trip on the 5th and cxoming back on the 7th - decided to fly after all - and yet, I will have to drag along QUITE a lot of clothes:

2 sets of travel wear (for the way to Helsinki/back home)
2 sets of dressy-but-informal dinner wear (for dinner with Dafd & sister & Bro-in-öaw and then just dad)
2 sets of clubbing clothes (for the nights spent ont he ship - clubbing = a must)
1 set of socializing/shopping/smart casual-ish clothes (for the day in Stockholm since I have no idea wtf we will be doing)
nightclothes

So... yeah. Am having a major case of the "omgwttfhowamIgonnadothis?" because I have no desire to take more than one bag. one that can be taken into the plane, even. so, size is limiting.

and omg I never thought I'd have to complain about this but... which shoes will I take? *woe*

*headdesk*

Right now, it is looking something like tihis:

Travel outfit the first: Brown velvet pants, *insert shirt*, blue knit blazer thingy, *insert shoes*
Dinner outfit the first: Brown velvet pants (pproviding I on't mess 'em before dinner), turqoise sleeveless shirt, light beige blazer, pretty blue foot-killer shoes
Clubbing Outfit the first: Browb velvet pants (if they live), see-through turqoise shirt with silver sparkles, *isert shoes here*

Night outfit: huge t-shirt & loose pants

Daywear outfit: Black slacks, *insert shoes*, black-grey pinstripe shjirt
Dinner outfit the second: Black pants, blue tank-top, black blazer, black-white scarf, pretty blue shoes
Clubbing outfit the second: No fucking idea
Travel outfit the second: Naby jeans, *insert shoes*, *insert shirt*, blue knit blazer thingy

Now, my biggest problems are a) which chirts to wear whjen traveling and b) which shoes to wear. not to mention CLubbing Outfit the second - am thinking red jeans and a golden top that I have - I think. It might be at home. but the promblem with THAT comes back to... shoes.

See, I have very few shoes. I think it is a reaking miracle that I currently have 7 pairs of wearable shoes. And these shoes are:

Dark brown/maroon hiking boots
lime green senakers
dark fgray/black high sneakers
dark blye "pretty" shoes
maroon loafers
Black loafers
Black sandals

So, I have no fraking idea which shoes to take, I know i willrtake the pretty vbblue ones - but i can't wear them for travel/shopping/clubbing because going through hour anfd a half-long dinner is definitely enough to kill my feet.

i am thinking of taking either the hiking boots or the high sneakers for when ui travel; they are comfy and they are good for walking. But I nered another pair of shoes for clubbing - so I will take the lime green snealkers because the7y actually go well - imhgo - with the brownb velvet and the turqoise see-though shirt.

BUT - if my second set of clubbing clothes is red - I can'ät wear lime green with them. So I would either have to drag the maroon loaferts along, or wear the hiking shoes to clubbing - IF I wear them to travel.

of course, I might choose another outfit for the second clubbing night - one that would go ith lime green. Like, my shiny green pants and the deep wine-colored blouse. But the shiny pants don't feel like something UI would like to wear clubbing. Anfd the wine-colored shirt is... kinda too gothy with a certain masculine/poetic vibe to it and Bot Good for clubbing. (also the material might roast me alive)

I might dig out another pair of blacjkk pants and wear them with the gold shirt - but that would leave me with the problem of the lime green Not Fitting. *hjeaddesk*

So - if you have any idea thtt would go with lime green OR black/gray, share. Or if you think I should take the hiking shoes. or if I should drag the maroon loafers along.

Although the hiking shoes wouldn't really go with the black look of the rest of my clothes on the Socializing Dat...

and will a black-and-white checkered wool cape thingy look horrible on top of the travel outfits I specified?

You definitely need to get a checking account so you can get a checkcard. They're awesome. That way, you can order online!

I hate going shoe shopping. I'll see really awesome shoes and be all, "OMG! If I had those shoes, I would die happy." And then they only go up to the half-size below yours. >0

Actually, I'm an 8 1/2 - 9, but because my feet are wide and manly, I usually have to get tens for them to be comfortable. X0
