Title: Candles
Rating: R-ish
Summary: n/a
Candles flicker in the wind, flames struggling against unforgiving air. Shadows play against the chipped walls, a tableau of Saints and Devils and fucked-in-the-head-Mariachi.
Not that Sands can see any of it.
But El sees.
The Mariachi’s fingers draw patterns of shadow and light on taut strings, coaxing out the haunting tales of this place.
Sands hears.
Later, when the candles are burnt-out, when there are no tales left, the strong fingers play upon skin. The music they coax out is the tale of blood and lust, bone-burning agony and need wrapped in broken bodies and torn souls.
They feel.
